Peter studied Biomedical Science at Sunderland University spending a year on placement at NUTH, and graduated in 2009. Peter completed his MSc in 2016 and now works as part of the senior team in Core Haematology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary. Peter is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, and is a member in the Institute of Biomedical Sciences.
