Significant delays are expected if using the Royal Mail during the periods of proposed postal strike, and the days before. It is advisable that all users who normally use Royal Mail to send specimens either using a different method of transportation or if this is not possible consider avoiding Royal Mail during these times.

The Newcastle Integrated Laboratory Medicine Directorate can not take responsibility for any specimens that are delayed during the postal strikes, and as a result deemed non-viable and/or delayed.
