Please be advised of our laboratory opening hours over the coming weeks as follows:
Blood Sciences Department
Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion sections open 24/7 with reduced staffing outside of normal hours and on Bank Holidays.
All other sections open 08:30-17:00 on weekdays, excluding Bank Holidays.

Courier Service
A normal courier service will be in place
Up to and including Tuesday 24th December – normal service resuming from Friday 27th December 2024 (Saturday 28th December morning – usual inter-site Bio-Blood Science Labs run in place)
Up to and including Tuesday 31st December – normal service resuming from Thursday 2nd January 2025
Northumbria Bloods Bikes will be in operation as normal
Out of hours, on weekends, and on public/Bank Holidays.
