Discussions are still ongoing between Newcastle Public Health England Molecular and TB diagnostic services for a transfer of the above services to the Trust. Whilst all Molecular and TB tests have been validated and verified there will be a period of time where they are outside the scope of our accreditation. A UKAS inspection to accredit these tests is being scheduled for the first available opportunity.
