Clare began training in Clinical Biochemistry in Birmingham in January 2013 and moved to the Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in September 2005; attaining State Registration Part 1 FRCPath since this time

She co-author on three MHRA publications relating to evaluations of blood glucose meters

Clare has a particular interest in HbA1c analysis in diabetes and also in clinical nutrition.
