Anne qualified at Newcastle University Medical School and trained in Haematology in the Northern Deanery.  She was appointed consultant in 1994 and is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer

Anne’s practice is in adult haematology/oncology (blood cancers) with major interest in lymphoma and leukaemia and is the dedicated haematology lead for Young Adults aged 19-25 with blood cancers.

Anne also takes a special interest in clinical trials and is Clinical Lead Division 1 (cancer) North of England and North Cumbria Research network, helping to ensure that patients in our area can access all the latest drugs and techniques available to treat their disease.

Nationally Anne is a member of the high grade lymphoma working party.
