I graduated from medical school at the University of Leeds in 2006. I then completed the foundation programme and Histopathology training in the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

I was appointed as a consultant in Newcastle in 2014. My special interests include gynaecological pathology, bone and soft tissue pathology and renal pathology. I contribute to the coronial autopsy service. I am also the consultant lead for the year 1 Histopathology trainees in the Northern deanery.
